The Bickley Harvest Festival is an event not to be missed!
Bring your loved ones to the hidden gem of Perth, the Bickley Valley, for the Bickley Harvest Festival. Take a scenic drive through the Valley and explore the diverse range of produce from the renowned cideries, distilleries, orchards, and wineries.
The Perth Observatory will be open during the Festival, giving you a chance to explore its rich history, as well as the wonders of the universe!
Knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey through time with guided tours of the Observatory. You will discover its beginnings at Mt Eliza in 1896, learn about timekeeping, and explore the museum to discover fascinating stories about the Observatory’s past and present. You’ll also have the opportunity to view the sun safely through the Solar Telescopes (weather permitting) and tour the Meridian, Astrograph, and Calver Telescopes.
While at the Observatory, you can walk around the serene bush setting and try to find the hidden fairy doors. There will also be free activities for the kids, making it a day filled with fun and learning for the whole family.
