Hop into a time machine and travel through history with award-winning author and illustrator Renée Treml! Inspired by her new graphic novel The Thylacine and the Time Machine, this hands-on workshop invites children aged 10+ and their families to explore the fascinating world of extinct animals, especially Australia’s legendary Tasmanian tiger.
In this playful and imaginative session, Renée will guide participants through how to draw extinct animals such as the Tasmanian Tiger and create time-traveling comic adventures that blend science, history, and humour. No drawing experience needed, just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Renée Tremel will be available to sign copies of her books at the Dymocks pop-up stand at the Hall of Stars (Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre – Agricultural Hall) from 2:00pm – 2:30pm.
