Darlington Chamber Music Winter Series

Concert Five brings the Darlington Concerts season to a thrilling close with a powerful finale featuring the full Darlington Ensemble. This bold chamber music program showcases two monumental works: Beethoven’s Sonata No. 9 for Piano and Violin in A major, Op. 47 “Kreutzer”, celebrated for its virtuosic intensity, and Elgar’s Piano Quintet in A minor, Op. 84, a richly expansive late masterpiece. Performers include Graeme Gilling (piano), Semra Lee and Zak Rowntree (violins), Sally Boud (viola) and Jon Tooby (cello).
