Growth is the debut solo exhibition from Danica Zuks.
Consisting of sculpture, photographs, and video of basic everyday objects and Australian native plants, both endemic and invasive in WA, Growth explores the aesthetic relationship between what should or what should not exist, between wattle, milk crates, Geraldton Wax, baskets, eucalyptus. All things harm when allowed to proliferate, and Zuks uses commercial aesthetics to re-evaluate our relationship in this balance. When is a plant, or plastic, harmful, and when is it not beautiful?

During exhibitions, the Zig Zag Gallery is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 4pm on weekends and most public holidays.
