What The Birds Told Me is an intimate, multi-sensory exhibition that centres the wisdom and presence of local birds as messengers, teachers, and companions in times of change.
Drawing on artist Claire B Bushby’s lived experience as a queer disabled artist living with chronic illness, this body of work reflects on how listening to the more-than-human world has offered grounding, connection, and deep relational care.
During exhibitions, the Zig Zag Gallery is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 4pm on weekends and public holidays.
