The Gidgestock Music Festival will return in October for its 9th year, showcasing some of Perth’s finest local music amidst the picturesque hills of Gigdegannup, located just 45 minutes from Perth city.
Attendees can immerse themselves in a natural amphitheatre bush setting, featuring over 20 live bands, campfires, rustic camping, and dancing under the stars. Guests wake up to the sounds of kookaburras, enjoying camaraderie, excellent music, and a hearty cooked breakfast on Sunday morning.
The festival is made possible by musicians, stage crews, and dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time, supported by sponsors. Hosts Steve & Jo Mitcham provide the beautiful 50-acre property venue, contributing to the event’s charm.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the West Gigdegannup Volunteer Fire Services, the Leukemia Foundation, St Barts, Shalom House and Zero to Hero.
Visitors can opt for a day trip or extend their stay for a weekend to savor the unique Gidgestock experience!
