Join Danica from Rediscover Ceramics for two relaxed 45-minute mini clay workshops as part of Kalamunda Open Studios.
These hands-on sessions are designed to introduce simple handbuilding techniques using your hands, basic pottery tools and a little imagination. They are suitable for children aged 5+, with adults and teens and adults are also welcome.
Saturday 10 October | 10am Mini Clay Creatures
Come along and make your own little clay creature. Experiment with simple handbuilding techniques, shapes and textures to create a small character of your own.
Sunday 11 October | 10am Mini Pinch Pots
Learn the basics of making a pinch pot using your hands and a small piece of clay. Shape your own little vessel and explore how a simple ball of clay can become a bowl, cup or other small form.
