Cath from Garden of Weaving is keeping the lost art of basketry and weaving alive using sustainable foraged materials.
Explore the wonderful world of gourds, creating a functional vessel or sculptural artform. Using the gourd as a foundation we will twine or coil plant fibres on to the pre prepared gourd base.
You will learn how to prepare the material, cut, hand-stitch and adorn with found natural treasures into a beautiful form to showcase in your home or to give as a gift to that special someone.
