The City of Kalamunda and the Zig Zag Gallery welcomes Jae Criddle, a sculptor and printmaker based in Kalamunda, as the next artist in the City’s Artist in Residence program, from Sunday 15 June to Tuesday 18 July.
In her residency project, titled Follies, Jae is delving into the whimsical and the strange—drawing inspiration from architectural curiosities, geological textures, and the poetic tension between function and form.
Pushing the boundaries of her ceramic practice, Jae is experimenting with slip-cast fabric, the tactile imprints of local rocks, and sculptural scale to develop a compelling new body of work.
This Open Studio is your chance to take a peek inside the residency space.
