The Jarrah Celts | Ceilidh Dance

A night of Scottish dancing and rowdy pub ballads, backed by the outstanding musicianship of the Perth Hills’ own Celtic band, The Jarrah Celts.

In Scottish Gaelic a Ceilidh (cay-lee) is a social gathering, which means lots of dancing, Celtic music, and good craic. And that’s exactly what is happening in the Agricultural Hall at Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre in December. We’re talking a night of Scottish dancing and rowdy pub ballads. What better way to kick off your Festive celebrations?

Don’t worry if you don’t know the dance steps; The Jarrah Celts will show you how, and all the dances will be called so everyone can join in.

As for the pub ballads – if you don’t know the choruses already, you will do by the end of the night!

This is the perfect way to connect to Scottish roots. Kilts and tartan fully encouraged!
