Waterwheel Gallery x The Art Larks | Kokedama & Clay Base Workshop
Kokedama is a Japanese technique where a plant is wrapped, forming a living art sculpture which can be displayed indoors or in a shaded place.
In this four hour workshop, held at the beautiful Waterwheel Gallery, you will be shown the art of plant wrapping. If you love indoor or shaded plants this is the perfect way to display them in your home.
You will also learn how to hand build your very own clay Kokedama base in which to proudly display your wrapped garden art.
The Art Larks provide a series of Visual Arts workshops for adults who are ready to discover something wonderful (again) about themselves. Creative learning does that. ‘Begin again’ learning techniques in drawing, painting, textiles, mixed media and ceramics are other areas the group has explored. The lessons are organised by a highly experienced art educator Julie Fearns-Pheasant, and run by a team of professional artists.
