Her debut solo album Émigré went double platinum and earned Wendy Best Female Artist and Best Debut Single (for Token Angels) at the 1990 ARIA Awards. In the same year she was voted Best Female Singer in the Rolling Stone Reader’s Poll.
More ARIA Awards were to follow amongst after the release of her second solo album Lily which went multi-platinum, selling over 500,000 albums, and including the mega-hit The Day You Went Away (which sold over 300,000 singles), If Only I Could, and Friday’s Child.
Wendy has recorded multiple albums throughout her career including the critically acclaimed The Welcome Fire in 2013, which is widely regarded as her best work ever.
Wendy now lives on her 10-acre property in New South Wales, just north of Coffs Harbour in the hinterland of the Northern Beaches. She is looking forward to bringing her music to Kalamunda.
