Based in the City of Kalamunda, NRPG is a volunteer community organisation founded in 1989 to preserve native bushland. Volunteer Friends groups adopt areas of bushland, and, working with the City, remove weed species and encourage native flora and fauna species back to the areas.

Perth Hills Tourism Alliance acknowledge the Noongar people of the Boodja, the land on which we stand, work and play. We acknowledge the Aboriginal people as First Nation People and their connection to the lands and the waters, as they are part of them spiritually and culturally. We acknowledge their ancestors, the Elders past and present, who have led the way for us to follow in their footsteps and the emerging leaders of today and tomorrow.
