Art is for everyone – fact.
You don’t have to be an art aficionado to enjoy the upcoming Mundaring Hills Open Studios happening 17 to 25 October. Take it from us, we recently visited a few studios involved in the 2026 events and were blown away by the artists’ passion, skills, their Perth Hills’ inspirations and a general thread that art is for all.
Amazing Local Artists to Discover
This year, over 85 artists are warmly throwing open the doors to their creative spaces for Mundaring Hills Open Studios. Studios from Swan View, to Chidlow and everywhere in-between will be abuzz with demos, artist chats and so much incredible art to discover and take home.
The Mundaring Hills Open Studios event spans nine days and two weekends, giving you ample opportunity to create your own itineraries, studio hopping, gallery gazing and of course stopping for a bite to eat, or two.
Watch landscape artists at work, chat to sculptors about their latest collection and pair your studio visits with a gallery stop too. Whether your interest lies in painting, woodwork, sculpture, glass, or a little bit of everything, you’re sure to find an impressive medium and infectious passion from the talented artists.
It’s worth noting that many of the studios are also playing host to guest artists. Plus, Amaroo Retreat & Spa, Juniper Galleries, Mundaring Arts Centre and Mundaring Adult Creative & Learning Centre are hosting artists over the event.

Make Your Own Studio Route
There’s three main ways to navigate the open studios and make your own route. On the Mundaring Hills Open Studio website, download the Art Trail App or via the glossy event guide, which can be picked up from the Perth Hills Mundaring Visitor Centre or downloaded here.
