Get ready for an exciting 6.5km adventure on the green quenda-marked trail through Paruna Sanctuary! This trail has some steep hills and great switchbacks that take you to awesome lookout points with amazing views of the Avon River Valley, the East-West Railway, and Paruna George.
There are plenty of spots to shop, relax, and enjoy a picnic while taking in the scenery. Along the way, you’ll see beautiful trees, like grass trees, and wattle, and in spring, the path is full of colorful wildflowers and orchids.
Paruna Sanctuary is open to the public from May to October and is closed from November to April. It is located on Clenton Rd in Gidgegannup.
