The South Ledge picnic area in Beelu National Park has several picnic tables, toilets and bushwalks. There are jarrah and marri trees around the picnic area and quite a few wildflowers out in spring. A quiet and peaceful spot surrounded by bush, birds and native wildlife.

The 800m return walk from South Ledge to Golden View Lookout is particularly scenic. Take a walk through the bush to a viewing platform with sweeping views of the Helena River Valley. You will also find information explaining the history of the area.

The Bibbulmun Track and Dell to South Ledge walk trails pass by this area.
