Gidgegannup Set to Shine with New Art Trail

Exciting news for Gidgegannup! The Wooroloo Bushfire Art Trail is bringing vibrant public art installations to the area, adding a fresh touch to the local landscape. The art trail will be launched with stunning new works at Percy Cullen Oval and the Gidgegannup Showgrounds, with installations expected to begin on November 18, 2024.

The purpose of this project is to enhance the visual beauty of Gidgegannup, celebrate local culture, and help strengthen the community’s identity.

What can you expect? New art pieces will be unveiled at Percy Cullen Oval (1990 Toodyay Road) and Gidgegannup Showgrounds (2171 Toodyay Road), turning these spots into vibrant community landmarks. Whether you’re passing through or stopping to enjoy the art, these installations will bring something special to Gidgegannup.

Work will take place between 7am and 5pm and is expected to wrap up within three weeks, with some flexibility in case of bad weather or unforeseen delays. Keep and eye out as these exciting new artworks start to take shape!
