Description

The Churchman Bushland Trails area is located in the northern end of the Wungong Regional Park in Roleystone, bounded by Stocker, Soldiers, Churchman Brook and Canns Roads, around 30 minutes south of the Perth CBD.

There are several trails to choose from including the Kangaroo and Emu trails, which head west from the car park at Beeloo Place past an old disused airstrip and offer views out to the city. The Botanical trail heads north east and leads you to the Churchman rock-climbing crag.

The largest trail in the parkland is the Echidna Trail which can be accessed either from Beeloo Close or from Stocker Road (just off Brookton Highway). This challenging 9km trail is popular with trail runners, hikers and walkers alike as it passes through stands of Jarrah, Yarri, Marri and Flooded Gums and follows both the Canning River and the Churchman Brook valleys.
