Founded in 1979, by a group of dedicated artists, Mundaring Arts Centre (MAC) is situated in the heart of the creative hills community of Mundaring, located 34 km east of Perth. The art centre boasts an artisan gift shop and two gallery spaces that feature new exhibitions bi-monthly, showcasing the cultural offerings of exceptional artists and craftspeople. With a diverse selection of hand-made contemporary art, craft and wares, the shop has become highly regarded as a place to purchase unique gifts for special occasions. Peruse the wide range on offer including contemporary jewellery, ceramics, textiles, glass, wood, art and illustrated children’s books, cards, paintings, printmaking and sculpture. MAC also presents a range of community projects, workshops and cultural events at the arts centre, local schools and in the wider hills community.
