Description

Stirk Park is a peaceful oasis, only a short stroll from central Kalamunda. With shady trees, lush grass, BBQs and picnic tables, a peaceful lake, a world-class skate park, and an adventure playground, there is something for everyone.

The popular Kalamunda Garden Festival takes place in Stirk Park four times a year, as well as other events including markets, movie screenings, and concerts. In autumn the leaves are all the colours! 🍁🍂🍂

The Park also contains a sound shell that is available to hire.

Stirk Park was named after Frederick Stirk, who was the fourth pioneer landowner in the district, and the first to clear land near the now Kalamunda Townsite in 1881. The heritage-listed Stirk Cottage sits on the edge of the Park and housed Frederick, his wife Elizabeth, and their nine children.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in Stirk Park.
