Piesse Brook Interpretive Trail
This month, we invite you to discover the Piesse Brook Interpretive Trail, a 5-kilometre return journey that offers a blend of natural beauty, history, and education. Get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of the Kalamunda National Park as we explore this captivating trail.
The Piesse Brook Interpretive Trail, established in 2012 by the Friends of Piesse Brook, is a hidden gem nestled within the Kalamunda National Park. With a Grade 4/5 rating, this moderate-level hike takes approximately 2-hours, depending on your fitness level and how much time you spend immersing yourself in the surroundings. The trail follows the meandering path of Piesse Brook, leading you to the enchanting Rocky Pool, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
Flora and Fauna
One of the highlights of the Piesse Brook Interpretive Trail is the abundance of diverse flora. As you walk the trail, keep an eye out for the vibrant wildflowers that bloom during spring.
