The Gidgestock Music Festival will return in October for its 9th year, showcasing some of Perth’s finest local music amidst the picturesque hills of Gigdegannup.
This family-friendly event aims to raise funds, located just 45 minutes from Perth city.
Attendees can immerse themselves in a natural amphitheatre bush setting, featuring over 20 live bands, campfires, rustic camping, and dancing under the stars. Guests wake up to the sounds of kookaburras, enjoying camaraderie, excellent music, and a hearty cooked breakfast on Sunday morning.
The festival is made possible by musicians, stage crews, and dedicated volunteers who generously donate their time, supported by sponsors. Hosts Steve & Jo Mitcham provide the beautiful 50-acre property venue, contributing to the event’s charm.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the West Gigdegannup Volunteer Fire Services and the Leukemia Foundation.
Visitors can opt for a day trip or extend their stay for a weekend to savor the unique Gidgestock experience!
