The Objects of the Gidgegannup Agricultural Society are to promote, encourage and assist the development of agricultural, pastoral, horticultural, viticultural, and industrial resources of Gidgegannup and the surrounding districts.
Membership is open to any family, individual, club, association, or body with aims consistent with the Objects.
The Society holds a very popular, traditional Country Show each year on the last Saturday in October, which attracts visitors and exhibitors from all over the Perth Hills, metropolitan area, and beyond.
Since its beginnings in the mid 1940’s, the Society has fully or partly funded most building projects within the Show Grounds, as well as providing practical support to many other community groups.
