Stirk Park is a green jewel in central Kalamunda.

Covering approximately 3 hectares, the Park is famous for its many deciduous trees that turn flaming orange in the autumn. In spring and summer the same trees provide ample shade for your picnic.

A skate park and adventure playground opened at the end of 2023. The skate park boasts one of the largest half-pipes in WA.

Stirk Park was named after Frederick Stirk, who was the fourth pioneer landowner in the district, and the first to clear land near the now Kalamunda townsite in 1881. The heritage listed Stirk Cottage, which faces Kalamunda Road, housed Frederick and Elizabeth Stirk and their nine children.

A number of facilities within Stirk Park are available to hire. Please contact the City of Kalamunda for information.

The very popular Kalamunda Garden Festival is held in Stirk Park, on the first Sunday of each season.
