The Flower Club by Jo is welcoming a new season to Bailup Farm with an autumn ‘Petals in the Paddock’ bouquet workshop. As well as beautiful blooms, you’ll be surrounded Bailup Farm’s ‘paddock puppies’ aka hairy Highland Cows for pats, feeds and plenty of photo ops. The eagerly awaited Glen Forrest Jump Track is ready to ride! The fast and flowing state-of-the-art jump track is perfect for those MTB lovers, who want to hone their skills. Throw your bikes on the car and test out the track for yourself. Found at the beloved Morgan John Morgan Reserve aka ‘The Train Park’, it’s perfectly placed for a picnic and play too. The Glen Forrest spot is right on the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, making it easy to access by bike. The kiddos will love it!
KALAMUNDA

New restaurant, Hainault at Carmel, is now open for breakfast! Enjoy brekkie with a vine view on weekends. From avo smash, to banana bread, and eggs your way – it’s a great way to start your day in the Bickley Valley. Coffee, mimosas as well as Carmel’s ‘Best Presses Raw Juice’, which are only sold in limited venues in the Perth Hills, are just some of the drinks on offer. Join Roleystone Theatre for ‘Shakespeare in the Park – Twelfth Night’ at the beautiful Araluen Botanic Park this March. What a way to spend an afternoon on the lush lawns, being entertained by a Shakespearean comedy, that some say was the original ‘Rom-Com’. Try something new to YOU this month. Quackery and Co Animal Farm is found in Jarrahdale’s bushland and open by appointment. The sweet family farm specialises in over 15 unique breeds of rare domestic chickens, pheasants, ducks, and geese. Visitors can enjoy feeding the therapy ducks, cuddling ducklings and touring the quackery to learn more about their feathered friends. There’s an onsite farm gift shop too. Find out more here.
